Volunteer Tutor Program

Parkdale Project Read is a member of the West TO Literacy Collaborative. We train volunteers who are interested in working with adult literacy learners in our west Toronto neighbourhoods.

Parkdale Project Read accepts volunteer applications all year round. We are currently seeking dedicated volunteers (aged 19 and over) to support adult literacy learners to develop their reading, writing, numeracy, and digital literacy skills. We welcome volunteers from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

The WestTO Literacy Collaborative offers a Virtual Tutor Training Program approximately 3-4 times a year. Attendance is mandatory to become a tutor at Parkdale Project Read.

Tutor Training begins on April 15, 2024.
